Sealladh Sona B&B

Our small cottage was built in the 1880's and is a traditional sandstone building. The location on the banks of the Caledonian Canal is normally a peaceful spot with uninterrupted views over Inverness and towards the hills. We are reasonably close to the centre of town but far enough to enjoy the peace, the name of our house translates to peaceful view. There are often swans in the canal outside the house and otters are often spotted on quieter parts of the day. The tow path runs below the house and is a popular walking, running and cycling route, there are lots of walks directly from the house. Just a few hundred yards to the Muirtown locks you can watch the boats negotiating the lock system. We are Jim and Christina, this was our home for 7 years before we decided to open the doors, it was and still is our family home and we enjoy living here at Sealladh Sona. We want our guests to enjoy their stay here and also to enjoy Inverness and the Highlands of Scotland.

Sealladh Sona has been welcoming guests since May 2016
